What this story says about the literature is that for them doing their first confession is something really big for them. That's because is showing them that their being faithful to their church but mostly to their religion. Something else is that since kids are little they have to do their first communion and afterwards right away confess for the first time. Basically the Irish culture seems to be really faithful to their religion and follow every step there is to be a good person. Finally Ireland is also somewhat strict on what they spect of their kids to do as their growing up and start going to church.
The church I go to is catholic. It's really nice and has saints around it. It's interesting how things are drawn in the ceiling and on the windows there's images of the saint doing some good things. The church also has only one priest even though they switch between two of them once in a while. The activities and traditions my church have are Miercoles de Cenisa, Domingo De Ramos, Virgin of Guadalupe birthday, Easter, the day Jesus was born and also 3 Kings Day. The things my church do during its services are that while in church they pass a basket around and people give money no matter how much, even coins. My churche's beliefs are that Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins, that Jesus is somewhere up there next to his dad God (Christ), and also that someday God will come to the world and awake those who were good but are dead now and will name someone else king or queen of all his power.
